This is an excellent replacement for the Celstion TF 1220.

*Note - in 2006 Eminence improved the design with increased the xmax, and changed the name to Beta 12A-2.  As of February 2011, Eminence has gone back to the name Beta 12A. It is the same speaker that has been made since '06 with the increased xmax.  To check whether or not you have the latest version, check under the magnet boot for a 122374-U on the grey label.  That's the newest Beta 12 - per Eminence.
